Main Objectives

To serve the common aims of individuals and families whose lives are affected by EB

To promote the provision of services which meet the needs of these individuals and families

Subsidiary Objectives

To collect and disseminate information

To exchange information between support groups

To facilitate the availability of reliable information concerning EB and its treatment

To increase public awareness of EB

To stimulate research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of EB and to promote public understanding of the importance of that research

To voice and promote the views of members on issues of common concern

To represent the members in European and international bodies and organisations

To encourage the formation of new national EB support groups

To develop programmes of common interest

To do all other things as will further the aims of the organisation

To raise funds and invest them, to appoint staff and incur necessary expenditure.
