Forti-series: Fortimel® Description: Fortimel® is a supplementary liquid food that is rich in protein and contains extra vitamins, minerals and trace elements in small cartons of 200 ml.Uses: Fortimel® may be used as a nutritional supplement, up to a maximum of 3 portions of the Forti-series a day. 3 portions of the Forti-series provide 75% of the average amount of vitamins, minerals and trace elements that is required daily. Fortimel® is ready for use and is preferably drunk cold. The flavours chocolate and coffee may be served warm. The liquid may be heated as follows: . Uses: Fortipudding® may be used as a nutritional supplement, up to a maximum of 3 portions of the Forti-series a day. 3 portions of the Forti-series provide 75% of the average amount of vitamins, minerals and trace elements that is required daily. Fortipudding® is ready for use and depending on the temperature it is served with there is an option for a cold, solid pudding at fridge temperature or a creamy dessert at room temperature. Shelf-life: The shelf-life before opening is indicated at the tab on the top. After opening, the tub can be kept in the fridge for 24 hours.

Ensini® Description: Ensini® is a high energy supplementary liquid fruity flavoured food that contains extra energy, minerals and trace elements and vitamins in small cartons of 200 ml. Uses: Ensini® may be used as a nutritional supplement, up to a maximum of 3 portions a day. Ensini® is ready for use and is preferably drunk cold. Thickeners Thick & Easy® Description: Thick & Easy® is a thickener that contains modified maize starch and dextrin maltose. It is free of lactose and gluten. Uses: Thick & Easy® is used for thickening foods in dysphagia. Not to be prescribed for children under one year of age. Thick & Easy® may be added to cold and hot drinks or dishes (1.5 tablespoons in 125 ml liquid produces a semi-solid substance). Packaging: tin of 225 gram, 1 tablespoon = 8 gram. Entirely liquid diet Nutridrink® and Nutridrink Fibre® Description: An entirely liquid diet product in small cartons of 200 ml on a basis of milk protein. It is a high energy and low lactose product. Nutridrink® is also low in residue, the Nutridrink Fibre® contains extra fibre (4,5 g - carton).
Uses: May be used as the sole source of nutrition: 6 to 7 cartons a day or as a nutritional supplement: 1 to 4 cartons a day. Nutridrink® is ready for use (Nutridrink Fibre® is to be shaken thoroughly before use). The sweet and fruity flavours are preferably drunk cold, the flavours mushroom and asparagus must be served warm as a soup. The formula may be heated as follows:

Tube feeding Nutrison Pre® Description: Nutrison Pre® is a formula for tube feeding that is often used as starting formula when a patient has not eaten for a while. Nutrison Pre® is a formula on a basis of milk protein and low in lactose and residue. Because of the low osmotic value this formula is tolerated well by the gastrointestinal tract. Uses: Nutrison Pre® is not a complete substitute for food and only provides the average daily amount of fluid, vitamins and minerals required. After a couple of days the patients changes to a more sustaining formula (for example, Nutrison Standard®).
