Mariangela brings nine years of experience in rare diseases policy, collaboration, and patient engagement across the European union. DEBRA International looks forward to leveraging on her expertise in health policy, governance, advocacy, and patient-centred research, as well as her strong commitment for strengthening the collective voice and impact of the epidermolysis bullosa community worldwide. Mariangela’s role will be enriched by her background in political philosophy for aspects of ethical analysis, public policy, and lived-experience evidence in her work. She is fluent in Italian, Spanish, English, and French.⁠
