Guideline objectives: to improve the effectiveness and quality of pregnancy and childbirth care for women of reproductive age with EB, to decrease variation in clinical practice internationally, to provide evidence-informed recommendations that will provide measurable standards of care and benchmarks against which practice can be audited, and to highlight quality-improvement initiatives linked to the clinical practice guidelines (CPG).

Target users: women with EB and their partners, dermatologists, obstetricians, anaesthetists, neonatologists, paediatricians, nurses, allied health professionals, family practice physicians, and psychologists.
