MEET THE TEAM

Rolf serves as CEO of DEBRA Switzerland and has been dedicated to the EB community for many years. After serving on the organisation's Board from 2012 to 2016, he returned in 2024 to lead the organisation as CEO.

Drawing on extensive experience in healthcare, medical technology, market access, and reimbursement, Rolf is passionate about building bridges between patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry. He believes that meaningful progress for people living with EB can only be achieved through strong patient organisations, international collaboration, and a shared commitment to turning ideas into action.

As a member of the DEBRA International Executive Committee, Rolf is committed to strengthening collaboration across the global DEBRA network, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and ensuring that the needs and perspectives of people living with EB remain at the heart of every initiative and decision.

Rolf lives near Zurich, Switzerland, with his family. He is a proud father of three and enjoys spending time in the mountains, where he finds inspiration, balance, and renewed energy for his work.
