We are delighted to start 2021 with the exiting news that the "Supporting sexuality for people living with EB: clinical practice guidelines" have been published! The topic of sexuality is a highly important and sensitive subject that needed to be addressed in the rare disease community. This work is pioneering and applicable for other skin conditions too. The guidelines outline the current understanding of EB and sexuality, and provide preliminary recommendations for assessment and intervention strategies.
We would like to congratulate the entire guideline development team on their achievement and also thank everyone who contributed to this work. It is a great resource, which will help many people living with EB around the world.
