Standing Against Violence: Yasmin El-Samra Charity Foundation Joins Campaign to Support Women and EB Patients

The Yasmin El-Samra Foundation-DEBRA Egypt, chaired by Mrs. Hanaa El-Sadat, participated with the Inner Wheel Club in organizing an awareness campaign called “No to Violence Against Women” as part of the Orange the World campaign. The event took place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Giza Pyramids, where the pyramids were lit in orange to show support for the cause.

This participation highlighted the importance of protecting and supporting women, especially girls and women with disabilities and those living with chronic and rare diseases such as Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), who may face extra health, social, and emotional challenges. The campaign encouraged understanding, kindness, and respect for physical and health differences, and rejected violence, bullying, and exclusion.

The Foundation also confirmed that supporting women means not only protecting them from violence, but also providing emotional support and a safe environment that respects their dignity and encourages them to be active in society. This participation reflects the foundation’s mission to spread awareness, support EB patients, and improve their quality of life and that of their families.
