'Smile to life, whatever the obstacles'
This was the message of this photo of Maëlle, a little girl full of joy despite the daily pain and the many raw wounds all over her body caused by RDEB.
This beautiful photograph, taken by Lionel Pagès from France, was one of the six entries shortlisted from the hundreds submitted for the prestigious EURORDIS Photo Award 2023.
