On 26th February, the 15th World Day of Rare Diseases was commemorated in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. The event was organised by the Observatory for Rare Diseases and 31 patient associations. The objective of the event was to raise awareness of advances in Colombia, and laws and treatments for these diseases with the general population. DEBRA Colombia participated with several EB patients and families. The event was attended by 700 people.
