DEBRA Croatia celebrated Rare Disease Day with a number of activities this year, including a radio and television feature, Zoom lectures on EB, and showcasing their work in an event led by Rare Disease Bahrain.
On 22nd February, in a Zoom event led by Rare Disease Bahrain, Mrs Vlasta Zmazek proudly presented on 26 years of support and protection for Butterfly Children in Croatia.
Rare Disease Day was marked by DEBRA Croatia on 28th February with various activities. Here the team are photographed in the centre of Zagreb by the sculpture "Prizemljeno sunce“ (Landed sun) .
On 7th March, DEBRA Croatia was featured on the Croatian Radio & TV show Dr Beck for a 40-minute programme about rare diseases: epidermolysis bullosa.
A cycle of Zoom lectures titled "Meet rare – Epidermolysis Bullosa", was held on 11th March in a student line for rare diseases.

Slobodna Murat-Sušić, a dermatologist from University Hospital Centre Zagreb
Jelena Klanjcic, an occupational therapist from DEBRA Croatia; and
Marija Brkinjac, a mother of a child with EB.
